I m familiar with scapegoating and it s got all the earmarks.
Trump s size demands that he have several scapegoats at any given time.
Obama is a regular, Hillary, all the women he s come across, today he said, " it s too bad the World has put us in this position.

Y all get the magnitude of the trouble with trump?

NOTHING is ever his fault so he never has to take care in what he says or does. He will negatively impact EVERYONE within reach.
He doesn't care if Hillary goes to jail. Why would he ? It s only important when the wind s of crimes shift his way.

Too late now.
Why is it too late? What's stopping Sessions from appointing special counsel tomorrow?

Trump appointed them.

Appointing a SC now would look like 100% retaliation. Not exactly what Trump needs. Besides, Sessions did appoint the guy Huber from Utah. The problem is Mueller's so far ahead of every other investigation, it will be hard for Huber or the IG report on the DOJ to claim the news cycle.

We'd agree that many of Trump's appointments are closer to the worst than the best. Wray and Rosenstein are, imo, closer to the worst. imo, Trump mistakenly believed being prez would change the perception of the R establishment.

More flailing and failing in desperate attempts to distract from the current dumpster inferno unfolding. It isn't working.

The Whitewater investigation began in the 90s to look at Clinton real estate investments in the 70s and 80s. If a crime has been committed, it should be investigated.

Your comment regarding the news cycle says a lot. You're apparently not interested in seeing a crime prosecuted, but in creating a diversion from the Mueller investigation.

I think Trump mistakenly believed that being prez was like being a king or a dictator. If he'd paid attention in class he would have learned about the separation of powers.

They lied repeatedly and nothing happened.

But Flynn, being a Republican, who sort of maybe lied, got his life and career destroyed
And this week Zuckerberg admits that his 20 thousand content managers of Facebook are extremely liberal and do block out or censure conservatives they don't agree with.

Okay democrats......WHO are the fascists?
Wrong.

Mills did hand over her computer, laptop, and files. There is ZERO evidence that Mills destroyed any evidence, or that she lied at any point during the investigation.

That was odd, to say the least.
When did Mills invoke attorney-client privilege?

I was clear. Politically, he screwed up.

As for not wanting criminals punished, not true. I'd be happy to pay more taxes to create a permanent federal agency to investigate things like money laundering, bank fraud, illegally lobbying for foreign governments, computer crimes, and other stuff. We could call it how does Department of Justice sound ?

I paid attention in class. I remember the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches. Was there a fourth --- Special Counsel ? Maybe we could make my proposed new DOJ a 4th branch of government.
