I completely agree. Driving in China is a nightmare outside the 3 biggest cities. It’s like the Wild West. In one day I can see cars driving on sidewalks, going the wrong way on streets, parked cars in intersections, people just walking around in streets, straight through roundabouts, etc etc.

Here in the US we don’t need it, the majority of people are willing to obey laws even when not enforced and most people are at least somewhat observant of their surroundings.
