I watch Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace because he is fair and balanced, so pisses everyone off! I think Chris is a Dem like his late father, Mike Wallace.
I've occasionally watched Deface the Nation, as Trump calls it, but the previous host was so annoying. Now Margaret Brennan (first row of presstitutes in White House press briefings) is host. She is liberal.
F. Chuck Todd on Meet the Depressed (Trump branding) is the worst of all. Angry, smug Left winger. Trump calls him Sleepy Eyes, which I don't get. He looks more like a cartoon rat to me.
It all depends on the guests, though. I want to hear directly from the people involved in decision making what is going on and not media spin from either side.
Are there any 'obscure' TV or internet political interview shows that you feel should get more exposure?
I don't, because I can never find them. My round-up used to be "Washington Week" on PBS, but I've drifted away since Gwen Ifil died.
As to obscure, yes! I will mention "Democracy Now" with Amy Goodman. Sadly, she's totally lacking in humor, but she highlights news you won't find elsewhere, and has long in-depth interviews. (She recently had a terrific interview with Jeremy Scahill.) And it's wall-to-wall without commercials. Her interests are left-leaning, but she seems very factual. Not sure if it's broadcast in all markets, though.
I've watched Chris Wallace as well Fox News Sunday. I also watch Meet the Press, ABC, CBS and CNN. I record CBS Sunday Morning.
When you watch a guest on one of those shows you have to remember they all have agendas. I'd much rather have an antagonistic interviewer than a friendly one.
That separates me from conservatives on the board who want an echo chamber.
And for the record I could care less who is in power. The press should be aggressive.
