I think its time we officially change what we call our political system, from a representative democracy to something more along the lines of a legislative quagmire.

Yes, but you have to look at it from their position.
The Hillary coronation was supposed to already be in the bag.
They were confident of victory, and it wasn't even going to be close.
Now, going forward, they can't trust anything they believe to be true to actually be true.
They have to begin reassembling their broken world one piece at a time.
And since the Mueller investigation went nowhere, they will start with what to them is the most important part, even if it is a desperate Hail Mary! pass into the end zone.
Funny how many Trump supporters are crying and ranting about this lawsuit when they elected, backed and support the most litigious person to ever hold the office of the presidency. 3,000 plus law suits and counting. Trump would not hesitate for a moment to follow a lawsuit if it was in his interests. Didn't he say he loved filing law suits.
