There are some people who just have weasel written all over them, Paul Ryan fits that description perfectly. He is a gutless, dishonest, butt kisser of the 1st degree. He has let Trump run all over him and his party, and he stands there, smiling like a whipped dog.
I'd like to see them go through government and phase out all positions like this.
Not to mention the whole pesky separation of church and state thing.
If someone wants to talk to clergy then let them go to their own church, mosque, bar or whatever.

Do you honestly believe Mr. Ryan asked Mr. Conroy to offer his resignation as the 60th chaplain of the United States House of Representatives for the above reasons?
We all know why Ryan insisted he resign. Things aren't that big a mystery here.
Nonetheless, I'm for saving the $415,000/year.
1) Constitution is clear about government not be sponsoring any certain religion.
2) Given the number of unsavory situations that have come to light recently, it is clear that not even a Jesuit is up to the task of keeping those in Congress on the straight and narrow.
