It turns out "Freedom's Safest Place" was either a conduit for Russian money and undercover operations against the country or unwitting fools for the Kremlin.

The NRA's true colors have nothing to do with freedom or patriotism it is about power. If undermining the rule of law, elections and constitution is what it takes, well the ends justify the means.

LOL, quoting CNN about the NRA. Couldn't find a more biased, less reputable, source to support your prejudice?

What a cop out! Don't want to touch the investigation into NRA affairs? Don't blame you. Better to stick your head in the ground than face reality.

Nobody who is a gun hugger, that is true. This is 'Murica, where guns, God, and apple pie are a way of life.

The NRA is a money making operation that diverts money from people like Putin to elections here in the USA. Glad to see they are finally being called on it. They have bought enough of our politicians as it is.

CNN is no longer a news channel. They rank with MTV in ratings and probably should start showing old Rock Videos.

Those that beileve that CNN is no longer a legitimate news source put their faith in blogs like Breitbart, Conservative Tree House, Infowars, Investors Business Daily, Russia Today and Sputnik.

It would be laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic.

Unfortunately, we are in a post-truth era where people choose to believe whatever fits their political persuasion. It becomes impossible to govern in an atmosphere like that, because you can’t even agree across the aisle on what’s real, let alone on a policy to deal with it.

We should probably dig into every donation to entities that then donate to political campaigns. The results would likely be surprising.

Better yet let's have one campaign fund that is equally distributed to valid candidates of all parties with a cap on the amount of the fund. The candidates can spend their share as they please. All of these donations can be from any US corporation or private individual knowing it will be distributed equally rather than given directly to one candidate. All candidates will be required to participate in at least 10 televised debates over the with moderators from various media outlets (to include liberal and conservative ones) and include questions submitted by voters as well as moderators. Let's make 3 of the 10 town halls with questions from voters.
