Just because CNN has been critical of Trump, and he has called it Fake News as a result, his unthinking, unlearned followers have taken up the cause and scream and yell "Fake News!" whenever the mere mention of CNN is made.
They are conditioned, in the same way as Pavlov's dog. It's scary that people can be so easily conditioned as this, and I thought that cults were relatively small in number in this country. Since Trump was elected, I can see that is not at all the case.

Maybe, but that won’t change the fact that the FBI having an informant meet with persons of interest who happened to have been hired by Trump is not remotely the same as the FBI spying on the Trump campaign.

I give to you and others who still remain all at the approaching prospect of FBI/DOJ/IC bigwigs biting the dust. It's sort of like the anti-Obama's who kept their spirits high by waiting for his impeachment or Kenyan birth certificate to show up.
Unknown sources (probably Brennan, Clapper, Comey or other plotters) told the NYTimes they did in fact have an informant (i.e. spy) trying to weasel dirt from Trump staff. As more people learn about that informant/spy ( S_ _ _ _ n H _ _ _ _ r), the more you'll need a new candle.
Steele voluntarily went to the FBI when he thought Trump might be a candidate for blackmail, not the other way around. The only reason they listened to him in the first place was that they already had some of the informaiton Steele was giving them in their files from other sources.
Don't bother wasting your time. Like Trump, his supporters ignore any factual information that doesn't fit their narrative.
If it supports Trump, it's factual information. It it goes against Trump, it's fake news. Period.
