Republicans have never had respect for the rule of law, truth or 3 equal branches of government.
Some of your examples were career government employees and not Reagan appointees for starters, some were simply accusations and nothing more. Oliver North had nothing to do with the Reagan administration He was a career military man even if he also was a conservative.

So much of what you are posting is based on what you want to believe not true fact. Oh well, we all have opinions and you will believe what you want.

Remains to be seen how long Trump will be worshipped, if Reagan is an example I’m guessing well beyond usefulness.

I like the TAMPA Bay Bucs not for their record or wins but because they are the only team in town. When you don’t have another option then you go with what you got.
How many ways can one spell: BS? This is simply opinion sir and should be posted as opinion only, not fact. Thee is a huge difference. If you think he was or is only worshiped by Republicans, explain why he won elections so easily? There have been many good presidents in modern times, certainly among them is or was Reagan.

My opinion, most overrated is Lincoln.

And I know nobody asked, but I think Eisenhower is very underrated..

tRump is the most overrated of all time, by his supporters. People not under his sway rate him accurately, which means horrible

Who in your opinion is the most overrated president and why? It could be any of the 44 (counting Cleveland once).

IMHO, Ronald Reagan. His policies led directly to the income inequality we are seeing today. He recongnized that his massive tax cuts bloated the deficit to unprecedented levels and tried to make up for it by stealing $3 TRILLION from the Social Security Trust Fund (and it was never put back). He ignored the AIDS crisis and was complicit, though not directly responsible, for the selling of arms tio Iran and the Taliban. He does get points for helping end the Cold War, but as we are beginning to see it never really ended, and Russia probably only backed down because they thought Reagan was crazy. The fact that he wanted to put giant laser beams in space to shoot down nukes means they were probably correct. He also gets way too much credit (that being any at all) for the release of the American hostages in Iran. Jimmy Carter didn't sleep for the last two days of his presidency as he was in constant contact with the Iranians to ensure the hostages' release. The only reason Reagan gets credit is because they waited until the precise moment he was president to leave Iranian air space so as to embarrass Jimmy Carter.

Told you it would get political...

I agree, Reagan was way overrated, possibly the 'winner' by criteria of what he did 'for' America vs his popularity.

One thing I'll say in his favor, and I'm no fan, is that Reagan had a genuine quality and was able to give the American people confidence when they needed it. Some of it may have been BS, or based in BS, but in general, I think (his failures notwithstanding) that he did a decent job in bringing Americans together. It was a different time, and was the beginning of ultra-partisanship, which he, Jesse Helms and others own a lot of blame.

In short, he did HUGE amounts of damage to our country, but he also had some good aspects too. We will need another "uniter/repairer" after Trump. Different times, I think it will be a much taller task.

Yeah, a guy who gets elected by an electoral college landslide actually does/attempting to make good on all of his campaign promises is horrible. Gotcha! #TDS #i'moffended

It wasn't a landslide.

It ranks #46 out of 58 elections.

Only 12 victors won with a lower percentage of the EC vote than Trump did:

Obama. He did some good things and some not so good things for the country just as every President before him and after him. The thing is the puppet Lefty media has ignored the bad and hyped the good creating a god like aura around him that they continue to push while they do the opposite with Trump.

I hate to burst the bubble but Obama was not the second coming of black Jesus.

The media tried to pump up Hillary and turn her into something she wasn't and luckily enough voters didn't buy it but imagine if she had won and how they would have polished her image.

The media was and still is what shapes a Presidents image.

It was the execution that sucked. If Kennedy didn’t hold back the air cover, there might have been a much different outcome. Not to mention, the possibility that he might have died of old age, if you believe the conspiracy theories.
Ever see the Brit show Red Dwarf? They had a time travel episode where they accidentally knock Oswald out of the window just before he shoots Kennedy. Then when they travel a few years into the future they find:

President Kennedy was impeached in 1964 for sharing a mistress with Mafia boss, Sam Giancana. It was the biggest scandal in American history. Kennedy was sentenced to three years in an open prison in July, '65. J. Edgar Hoover became president; he was forced to run by the mob, who had pictures of him at a transvestite orgy...Soon after his election, the USSR were allowed to install a nuclear base in Cuba in return for Mafia cocaine trafficking between Cuba and the States. With a Soviet nuclear base 30 miles from the US mainland, people fled from all the major cities.
