Good for the armed citizen, and another idiot bites the dust.

1.) How many people would the perp have injured or killed if there hadn't been an armed citizen nearby who knew what to do?

2.) If law-abiding people were freely allowed to carry guns around places like that restaurant, would the perp still have opened fire as he did? Or would the knowledge that there were probably at least a few armed citizens around, have made him think twice and maybe not have opened fire in the first place?

3.) How many lives would be saved every year if law-abiding people (the ones who never shoot anybody except obvious criminal perps like that one) were allowed to carry freely around places like that restaurant?

No mention at all on CNN. A search for the restaurant returns "Your search for Louie's on the Lake did not match any documents."

Strange, huh? It's almost like they have an agenda or something...

You’re making the assumption that lots of people want to carry guns. That’s just not true, especially in urban and suburban areas. I will never understand why people of your mindset completely disregard the NUMEROUS other countries that have strict gun control and have stopped these things from happening. It’s May. We’ve had two mass school shootings this year. Wake up bro.

That's exactly how many of us outside the US feel.
