It’s true that anarchists reject ideas of innate depravity or Original Sin. Those are religious ideas which most people no longer believe in. But anarchists don’t usually believe that human nature is essentially good either. They take people as they are. Human beings aren’t “essentially” anything. We who live under capitalism and its ally, the state, are just people who have never had a chance to be everything we can be.
The value of nothing.

Are you forgetting the "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear" logical fallacy during the Bush administration? Homeland Security was created as a new federal agency and was granted unprecedented domestic power; it was--and still is--the American secret police. Those of us who never trust the government brought this up to people and we were told that over and over.
