Quote:
"'Don't just get involved. Fight for your seat at the table. Better yet, fight for a seat at the head of the table.' - Donald J. Trump."
The crowd burst into applause.
"Just kidding," Bowling said. "That was Barack Obama."
Obama may have said it. Too bad he didn't do it. Especially in the field of international relations, where he spent most of his time conceding to them, signing disastrous deals that helped them without helping us, bowing down before every foreign leader under the sun, and making the world a much less stable and free place.

But if all you wanted was some nice-sounding quotes that the speaker didn't really believe, Barack Obama is a great source.

I don't see much food for thought. It's no secret how competitive our politics are. He would have gotten the same silence if he did the opposite in a CA high school. Might have even been injured.

According to this Obama and Trump share a few things when talking to the American people.
Trump and Obama have one surprising thing in common

They both seem to love first-person pronouns. lmao

I guess you can tell who's getting the hell out of Bell County, Kentucky - and who isn't.

Btw, it's not a valedictorian's job to try make a national disgrace of his audience. An audience that included family, friends, neighbors and faculty. I see a major personal backlash coming his way. He's a horse's arse!

Just think of the other Obama quotes he could have used.

"You didn't build that!"

"The police acted stupidly."

"If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor."

To Congress before the vote: "There are no new taxes in Obamacare". To the Supreme Court immediately after the vote: "Those aren't (unconstitutional) penalties for refusing to sign up. They are new taxes."

They cheered and clapped like sheeple, they did not care about the words , they cared only because they thought it was "their guy" saying it....
You call the guy a "lowlife jerk" not because of his prank, but because the prank puts a mirror to the face of Trumpism.

Right. Heaven forbid a community leader should lightheartedly try to open people to new ideas.

The problem is too many people are closed to new ideas, especially ones that challenge their opinions. We see that here all the time.
