Don’t get too excited. He was nominated by 2 guys from the Norwegian equivalent of the alt-right and it was not for this year’s prize. It was for next year.

If this blows up in his face, he has no chance of actually winning.

He shouldn't be nominated for a Peace Prize any more than Obama... well, maybe a little more...

Nominating Obama before he even did anything has already turned this into a participation trophy.

We don't even know the outcome of N Korea.

These people need to do something productive with their lives...

This is the funniest thing ever. If nothing else it will show what a farce the prize has become. It is nothing more than a blue ribbon for political participation now. We seem to be hooked on participation awards. Too bad, it once had meaning.

the entertainment value of this to me as absolutely off the charts. Please please please get him a serious nomination. The S*&tstorm would be one of the most amusing things I have ever witnessed.

Actually Trump is earning his.
Obama is the one that did nothing for it.

Personally I don't think that Trump has done anything so far to get nominated for it.

But if that idiotic Obama can win in the 1st year without doing anything and bomb away people in other countries during the remaining seven years there is no reason why Trump should not be nominated or win it. The prize has become meaningless

Trump does not have a chance in hell, but i otherwise agree, giving it to Obama was wrong. Obama had not earned it and he went on to continue the "endless" wars....

I liked most of what Obama did, but he was just another POTUS when it comes to our nation using our military to solve every problem they see.
