Not a Donald Trump supporter, but I applaud the First Lady.

I agree.

I know some will say she should have said something sooner, blah blah blah -- we don't know how hard she had to fight or if she didn't.

What matters -- she has expressed concern for reuniting and though the EO did not make any consideration for that - -maybe it will be a priority because of her concerns.

I don't care how or why -- just fix it.

She has gone to a lovely Baptist run facility -- not a tent city so that is 'selective' but any administration would choose the good optics.

Where are those babies? Melania go see those babies........

If she looks into WHERE the girls and babies are, and GOES to see them, good on her.

If she goes to a Port of Entry and makes sure the agents there are not continuing to turn away asylum seekers as they have been, good on her.

If she just poses for pics with local pols and officials...meh.

Melania Trump isn't one to do things for photo ops - -or doesn't seem to be. She seems to make choices and statements that are purposeful.

Sure - -we don't know for sure NOW but I will give her the benefit of the doubt.

I don't think she would personally say anything about reuniting kids with parents if she wasn't truly concerned with it.

I think she has made it perfectly clear she is not going to say or do something just because her husband wants her to.

There is no doubt this is a clever opportunity but that's okay.

I don't anticipate she will go to a border entry port or along the border to make sure things are going right. That's a bit of a stretch.

I do think a stop at a tent city location or 'tender age' site would be beneficial.

I agree with this. The WH knows they are in sore need of some good optics to counterbalance the horrific ones we've been seeing.

This is a nice gesture, but let's see her do more than just pose for pictures and then scurry back to the WH.
