There is nothing that has to be done with Canada, because unlike along our southern border, we do not have tens of thousands of people attempting to sneak across and compromise the border.

Why? To keep out U.S. citizens fleeing there? To stop illegal immigrants crossing over the U.S. to get to Canada? Seems like a silly idea.

Actually, there are several hundred-thousand illegal immigrants from Canada in the U.S. And Canada has always had immigration issues, for decades, with Americans crossing the border illegally and living there. There are at least a half-million Americans and thousands of Canadians living illegally in Mexico.
