Is a physical wall even necessary? With the tech that we have, why not an "invisible" "wall"?


Because the goal is not to catch the people trying to cross the border.

The goal is to prevent them from trying in the first place.

The Wall (a real wall) will do that to 80-90% of the ones who wanted to cross. And leave the Border Patrol personnel free to concentrate on the relatively few who try anyway.

A definite win-win.

Which the liberals are desperate to avoid.
