She's talking about immigrants, and from there appealing to the Christian message "we're all God's children. There's a spark of divinity in every person", and those drawn to public service have to recognize that and respect the dignity of every person. She said Trump called
undocumented immigrants animals, not MS-13. His using MS-13 is just a rhetorical fig leaf, appealing to fears of violent crime among minorities. He surely didn't single out MS-13 as "rapists" and "assumed some were good people". This is Racism 101 (having grown up in the rural Deep South, I can assure you I know what hysteria against minorities looks like when I see it). Trump's simply doing the same thing on a national scale.
