If you think it's a minor law sneak into Mexico illegally and see what happens to you when you get caught. Nothing minor about immigration laws.

We are a nation of immigrants. Our immigration laws sort of reflect that. They ARE in fact minor crimes. What you are doing is a false comparison.

But lets go with it, because it shows a stunning ignorance of what the actual laws are currently in Mexico.

In Mexico currently-illegal immigration is a administrative infraction, punishable with a fine of up to 100 days of minimum wage income. Currently that means the maximum punishment for illegal immigration in Mexico is about $470 dollars.

Any more nonsense?

We're not talking about minor laws. We're talking about entering the country illegally. Sovereignty matters.

What laws did the victims of the worst atrocities in history break?

So, strict border control is equivalent to the worst atrocities in history now?

You seem to have lost the plot.

using laws to enforce things in inhumane ways is a well known method for atrocity. Slavery was legal. I can point to many many other similiar or worse things throughout history. You should study more. People suck.
