It's a distraction from the damaging IG Report which opposition media continues to ignore.
On Friday, Nunes called for 17 FBI and DOJ officials to testify on Capitol Hill about FISA abuse during the 2016 presidential election. FBI lovebirds Lisa Page and Peter Strzok are among the officials Nunes is calling to testify.
Nunes is also calling for Trump-hating FBI lawyers Sally Moyer and Kevin Clinesmith, who were recently unmasked by Chairman Meadows in a Congressional hearing with Inspector General Michael Horowitz to testify.
Another official named by Nunes is the FBI agent who was present at the General Flynn ambush with Peter Strzok, Joe Pientka. Rosenstein has fiercely worked to block Pientka from testifying.
Certainly a distraction. Keeps the common folk occupied while authoritarian governments and global interlinked mega businesses collude to make fortunes for politicians and corporate elites. Maximize profits, destroy unions and stifle freedom of speech.
Our traditional concept of long term employment with a living wage and retirement savings plans is slipping away. The Baby Boomers were the last generation of Americans to have a middle class lifestyle. No one is paying attention. Make America Great Again for the Trump family and their business cronies.
Hilarious! So, addressing 11 million plus illegal aliens costing us over $100 billion a year is a mere distraction? Not to mention the loss of jobs, reduced wages, increased crime rates, overcrowded schools, jails, hospitals, roads and neighborhood is also a mere distraction?
Too funny that you would be concerned about the lack of employment, a living wage, etc. while you and yours turn a blind eye that illegal immigration plays a large role in it and instead you all want amnesty for them to retain American jobs and resources. Trump is tying to put a stop to that and all you do is demonize him for it. It's not only Republicans that are filling their pockets via illegal immigration and cheap labor but the Democrats do also.
Personally I think it's that the Republican VOTERS are generally afraid of foreigners and want to keep them out, legal or not, while the Republican DONORS tend to like open borders more.
Stereotyping, much? Most Republican voters that I know embrace legal immigration but object to illegal immigration. You do know the difference, don't you? There are some in both parties that are for open borders. Why do you think the left keeps screaming about any enforcement of our immigration laws?

Funny, I don't remember anyone marching for the homeless, especially in California where there are permanent homeless camps under the bridges and elsewhere. How much did it cost to bring the people out today? For the price of the signs alone you could feed a few hundred homeless for a year. But hey, children are just props.
Why do you use this as an example? It’s apples to oranges. If someone commits a crime, their child is not ripped from them. The child is normally with the other parent or relatives in a familiar home. That is not the same as our govt taking Kids and putting them in foster care or indefinite detention.
I’m for border security but snatching Kids is not the solution
What about single parents? Where does the kid go? Dems want to checkmate Trump. First, they say keep the families together. When he does, the 20 day clock starts ticking for them to be released inland never to be seen again. Come back in 10 years and you have Little (fill in the blank) in New Hampshire. Brilliant!

I hazard a guess that if the throng of people pouring across the border were belonged to the Swedish Bikini Team, the situation may have been a a little different. For one, you'd find more sponsors.
It really bothers me, the way that the furor over separation of illegal immigrant families is taking over the news.
Yes, it's awful. Yes, it's heartless. I'm not so sure it's a result of stupidity and lack of foresight, though - it might just be a ploy both to scare away illegals and to make any slightly less cruel policy more palatable.
But, apart from that, yes, we're talking about maybe 3,000 children, a few thousand families, non-citizens, who, yes, are treated horribly - but it seems to me that we have far greater things requiring our attention. Shouldn't much more attention be paid to black citizens, actual American citizens, 30,000,000 of them, who are in danger of being snapped up or mowed down by policemen?
And, beyond that, does anyone else suspect that most of what Trump is propelling into the news is really intended as a distraction from his real dangers, like the Mueller investigation?
What's fascinating is how otherwise smart people can get sucked into the separating-families hysteria. Obama deported more illegals than any POTUS in history. No protests of note. No 24/7 negative media coverage. Obama targeted children for deportation. More silence from the left. This policy of separation has been ongoing for years. Trump finally fixed it. Still protests move forward. People are emotional. People are easily programmed. People gravitate towards group think. Twitter & social media leads to mental illness.
The real genius of Trump's EO is that all 'families' must now do DNA testing to ensure the 'parents' are not actually traffickers. In other words, Trump has effectively ended the widespread practice of child trafficking into the United States from Mexico & Central America.

We are supposed to believe that Trump is now driving the news? He is telling media what they should report because there is something he doesn't want to talk about?!
Of course immigration is a distraction. It was a wedge issue from day one. It is not nearly our most pressing issue.
There is a reason why some refer to this administration to nazis. It promotes the thought that the countries problems is routed in certain "classes". In Germany;s cases it was jews.
People will flame me for this post. To that I would say with all the issues facing this country why was immigration (specifically brown immigration) highlighted as the number one issue.
