The 50 most dangerous cities in the world revealed | Daily Mail Online

Another Democratic city that does not but blame anything and everything for it's problems.

If they hate the oil companies so much, why doesn't the city consider banning gas stations?

Baltimore is one of the most violent cities on the face of the earth but yet it ignores the some of the worst crime on the face of the earth and decides to instead obsess and spent tremendous amounts of resources on filing lawsuits against not just 1 but 26 oil companies.

In my opinion many liberal, big cities are losing it.

They are more worried about plastic straws and oil companies than they are about feces, urine-stench, hypodermic needles and violence crime.

It's like suing Tobacco.

They are hoping some Liberal sympathetic jury will award them a few Billion $$ and all their problems will magically disappear.

I'm hoping they lose every case and have to pay the defendant's legal costs. The voters of that city deserve it for electing morons.

How would the opposing party (I'm assuming Republicans) turn around Baltimore and other similar cities ?

Wow, I should have edited before I posted. Grammar was rough on that one.

They likely are aware that legally they will likely lose but they will just it as excuse to raise taxes and will claim they have a big budget deficit.

Liberal cities like Baltimore love big payouts. It gives them an excuse for big tax increases.

The Mayor of NYC, de Blasio filed a similar suit and was just laughed out of court about a week ago. The Judge wrote that the court can not legislate climate change from the bench and that it's up to Congress to do so. In addition, the court makes notice that the city of NY continues to benefit from oil companies by buying their product. Hopefully, this will set a precedent moving forward with the other worthless lawsuits. You never know how these things will go.

What did that solve? Look around today, even though the tobacco industry had a billion dollar judgement against it, they are still doing fantastic, their profits are always going up, NO restrictions on access to tobacco was ever put in place, anyone 18 and over can go to basically any store and buy as much as they like, 7 days a week.

Not sure a judgement against big oil would be any different.
