Hmmm turns out the left’s socialist darling used to be ... a capitalist!

——-
But Ocasio-Cortez appeared to have a different outlook on capitalism and taxes in 2012 when she was running a business of her own, Brook Avenue Press, an incorporated publishing firm for children’s books set in the Bronx. As a business owner, she came out in support of a bill that would provide tax deductions for business start-up costs, arguing that taxes directly impacted her business profits.

Ocasio-Cortez’s talk of the values of entrepreneurship, profits and lower taxes in 2012 are antithetical to the values she now espouses as a member of the DSA, an organization that marches the streets calling for the abolishment of profit.

A lot of liberals want lower taxes for small businesses. It's the massive multinationals that they want to pay more taxes.

Small and midsize companies are the lifeblood of the economy!

The HUGE multinationals, are buying lobbying power, to alter tax codes, less strict working conditions etc etc in their favor. They dont care what country you are, they want return on investments.. at ANY cost.

All leftist leadership is corrupt and hypocritical. They reason that they want business-killing socialist policies is because they have their fingers in various pies, and don't want competition. If they can freeze out competition by making it impossible for smaller, up-and-coming entities to function, they they retain their monopolies forever.

Just look at California. Feinstein, Pelosi, Boxer, Brown...these are extremely rich people.
