I know you are all waiting breathlessly! Sadly, no details of what Melania will be wearing. The UK fashionistas will have their knives (or is it scissors?) out. Considering how they are treating the new American member of the Royals, it will be brutal.

Trump is going to stay with Woody Johnson at the US Ambassador's house Winfield House in Regents Park in London, he will be greeted at Blenheim Palace by the Guards Regiment's Bands and have a black tie meal, as well as going to Windsor Castle to meet the Queen and to the Prime Minister's residence at Chequers. He then flies up to Scotland to play some golf at Turnberry and then across to Helsinki to meet Putin.

They seem to be keeping him well away from demonstrations, and it's quite a well thought out trip.

Hmm.

Seems a small price to pay for what the USA has brought to the UK over the last 100 years. Maybe they'd rather be speaking German or Russian there today instead.
Of course the people who complain are only doing so because it's Trump. If it was Hillary, who would sell them out in a second, there would be silence instead.

That's okay we are not paying for the Aircraft Carrier, US Special Forces or US Secret Service, just the extra police including armed police and the clean up bill.

In terms of WW2, Britain did more than any other nation in Europe with the exception of Russia, who we supplied via the Arctic Convoys. Britain entered WW2 on September 3rd 1939, the US didn't join us until 7th December 1941, and Britain played an instrumental role in D-Day along with Canada and other commonwealth nations.

As for the Cold War, once again Britain kept considerable forces and intelligence facilities, whilst it was never a question of speaking Russian, indeed the whole world would have been destroyed in a full scale war between the Warsaw Pact and the West.

Baby Trump has been given permission to fly.

Under the plans the inflatable will be allowed to fly for two hours on the morning of Friday 13 July, using Parliament Square Garden as a grounding point where it must be tethered, it also can not go higher than 100 feet (30 metres) but this is still quite high.

So Baby Trump will be pictured flying next to the UK Parliament.

Trump is childish, he even took a packet of Starburst out at the G7 meeting and threw them at Angela Merkel, whilst shouting 'Don't Say I don's give you anything Angela' - now that is childish and nasty and he then went on and tried to bully Justin Trudea . This ia just an organised protest for a couple of hours.

A lot of people have very little respect for Trump, but he only has himself to blame.
