Many people do not realize that US media has 'black outs' on certain topics/ news, they will not air them or report on them.

I read a piece about this practice awhile back, it was very informative, I was surprised by some of the black out topics, some of them its hard to figure out why anyone thought to black them out. I will try to find the list, its about 15-20 different topics/ subjects.
