Maybe his performance will get some of the Trump Republicans to stop dancing in the end zone like they won something. If Putin's goal is to isolate America from the rest of the world, he made plenty of head way this week.

Putin had a smirk on his face the whole time during the press conference. He has played Trump like the fool he is. I bet Putin never in his wildest dreams thought he would get such a rube as US President.
Anyone with half a brain knew it to be true but now it is confirmed for the people without half a brain. Putin actually said today at the press conference that he wanted Donald J Trump to win the US Presidential election. The only open question remaining now is what degree did he and his Russian cyber-force help to make it happen.
One thing that I think people overlook is that this was more about Putin being anti-Hillary than pro-Trump.

I mean, I'm not at all defending Trump, but you can certainly see how and why Putin would feel justified in messing with our elections.
