Comparative advantage.
If Country A can produce cheaper Salad Shooters than Country B by using dangerous chemicals and slave labor, then the world benefits. Who wants to live in a world where people are forced to buy expensive goods from Country B, which has expensive labor and environmental regulations?
I don’t want a world with good labor conditions and a clean environment. That’s too expensive. We need strong neoliberal policies that reward labor repression and environmental pollution. That’s the way to make the world a better place.
Any alternative to Neoliberalism is Protectionism, and Protectionism is evil.
