WASHINGTON — On the first couple’s recent trip overseas, Melania Trump’s television aboard Air Force One was tuned to CNN. President Trump was not pleased.

He raged at his staff for violating a rule that the White House entourage should begin each trip tuned to Fox — his preferred network over what he considers the “fake news” CNN — and caused “a bit of a stir” aboard Air Force One, according to an email obtained by The New York Times

At the end of the email chain, officials confirmed that tuning the TVs to Fox would be standard operating procedure going forward.

Trump is known for paying attention to detail. Knowing that CNN is the communist news network its only reasonable to control for that fact.

The bigger issue is his insistence of living in a bubble of confirmatory biases.

A more reasonable media consumption strategy for the President of the United States of America should consist of a healthy dose of multiple independent sources and perspectives.

It's one thing for Joe Schmoe in middle America or along the coasts to think and behave this way...but It's quite another thing for the leader of the nation to be like that.
