This wasn't "the Left" that did this. It was a guy. Maybe he had some friends along with. But he damaged something and should be subject to whatever punishment is appropriate. He may still think it was worth it. But this is hardly the political policy of the left. Come on.
Sure it isn't. This is how the left has been behaving for years now without anyone in "leadership" on your side doing anything to stop it. Quite the opposite your leaders encourage violent, abusive, destructive behavior. If anything this is small potatoes for what they usually do.
The up side is the tolerant liberal who did this is now a felon and won't be able to vote.

No, honey, that's not how most Democrats (or Republicans) behave, and you really need to stop with this nonsense. Most of us, whether left or right, at most roll our eyes at things we find obnoxious and then move on. We don't scream or yell, punch people, ram our cars into crowds, or take pickaxes to public displays we find offensive.
The only thing the left may be intolerant of is Trump destroying America.
Are you kidding? The only thing the left is tolerant of is absolute 100% obedience to the liberal agenda. Step off the plantation and you're the enemy to the "tolerant" left. A recent example, look how the "tolerant" left is treating Brandon Straka.

Well at least one person on this thread with some common sense.
So, a person gets so angry that they chop up a piece of cement.
Stupid!
No matter how much they chop up the sidewalk, they are chopping a piece of cement. They are not hurting the person. Now they have caused vandalism and ought to go go jail.
Did they catch the person and put him in jail yet? I hope so.. you cannot go vandalize sidewalks. Seriously.
And for a person to get that mad that they have to chop a sidewalk? They are seriously totally depraved. They need jail time for maybe 20 years and they need to repair that sidewalk and pay for it by doing hard time in jail, maybe they would enjoy breaking rocks in jail since they are showing they like vandalizing and breaking sidewalks.

Twenty years for destroying a square of concrete? Now who's overreacting?
Guess the secret service will have to guard the new star. At our expense.
