No, it’s not a lie. It’s an opinion based on Trumps personality. Don’t like it ? Not my problem.

Its often the star themselves either directly or through someone representing them. My point was the city does not pay for it like someone said.

I don't look for trouble.

You are right its not the majority at least not yet. But this mob mentality is growing. If it reaches the point where most people are like that its civil war time.

He was just clearing the area for the new star that will be placed in 2020.

During this last campaign, in my township, a guy's Trump/Pence sign kept getting run over on his lawn, and you could see the oversized truck tire prints on the lawn each time. He finally paid to have the sign hung from the 30-40 year old tree in his front yard, probably 25 feet off the ground. This was in Montgomery County, Texas (the only county in the country where Trump beat Hillary by more than 100,000 votes), and about a mile or so from where Gingrich and Herman Cain had their debates in 2012.

But it's not as simple as that. First, someone has to nominate these celebrities — this could be anyone from a publicist to a wealthy fan. Next, they must obtain that celebrity's consent, as the nominee must sign a form stating that they want a star, and that they will attend the unveiling of it.
If a person's application gets accepted, whoever did the nominating needs to pony up: a star costs $30,000.
