No, honey, that's not how most Democrats (or Republicans) behave, and you really need to stop with this nonsense. Most of us, whether left or right, at most roll our eyes at things we find obnoxious and then move on. We don't scream or yell, punch people, ram our cars into crowds, or take pickaxes to public displays we find offensive.
It is obvious that the amount of people doing aggressive things in the name of their political causes is rising very quickly. I would never put anything on my car that shows any political preference nor wear anything that does. There are way too many nuts out there that can be triggered by such a thing. I don't look for trouble.
You are right its not the majority at least not yet. But this mob mentality is growing. If it reaches the point where most people are like that its civil war time.
The star, already the target of numerous vandalism attempts since the 2016 election, was finally destroyed by a man brandishing a pickax early this morning.

During this last campaign, in my township, a guy's Trump/Pence sign kept getting run over on his lawn, and you could see the oversized truck tire prints on the lawn each time. He finally paid to have the sign hung from the 30-40 year old tree in his front yard, probably 25 feet off the ground. This was in Montgomery County, Texas (the only county in the country where Trump beat Hillary by more than 100,000 votes), and about a mile or so from where Gingrich and Herman Cain had their debates in 2012.
No, it’s not a lie. It’s an opinion based on Trumps personality. Don’t like it ? Not my problem.
Not my problem you don't know how to research.

But it's not as simple as that. First, someone has to nominate these celebrities — this could be anyone from a publicist to a wealthy fan. Next, they must obtain that celebrity's consent, as the nominee must sign a form stating that they want a star, and that they will attend the unveiling of it.
If a person's application gets accepted, whoever did the nominating needs to pony up: a star costs $30,000.
Trump isn’t a celebrity never has been not in the real sense like Prince, Michael Jackson, etc. Whomsays Trump or a family member can’t nominate himself?
