Of course, by linking it to the "right", one can also blame Trump ... and get free media coverage from those whose lives are dedicated to 'blaming Trump' for anything and everything.

The most likely culprit would be Venezuelans, not some 'far-right' conspiracy.
Maduro may have staged it himself.

Most of those voices are not so loud now are they?

Noam Chomsky is one of the few still standing by Venezuala and how it is run.

Of course he blames the current problems on "Capitalism", lol.....

Very good video; the explanation by Chomsky towards the end is literally laughable. Someone needs to send that to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Who could forget this gem from Bernie Sanders in 2011?
“These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who's the banana republic now?”
https://www.sanders.senate.gov/newsr...reaten-america

I guess he means more equally poor, so he’s not entirely wrong.

I know, “socialism works” when they still had other people’s money, state capitalism now when it’s a complete and utter failure. I always love the word games they play. They make sure the word capitalism is there so they can blame it on capitalism. Not much different than Maduro blaming it all on the right.

No. I find that odd.

A huge military parade, cameras everywhere, and no video. The state run television cut off across the board nearly immediately once a loud boom was heard.

Do we even know what happened? I heard an early report that it may have been a gas leak.
