The ever-expanding democratic welfare system that turned an emergency system into a way of life. The one that subsidizes single parent households and then takes away all benefits and increases your taxes if there is a working low income father in the household
Democrats have provided a financial incentive and subsidized poor single parent households then get shocked when the out of wedlock birthrate for blacks continues to rise at astronomical levels. Leading to unprecedented levels of crime, teen pregnancy, high school droupout, drug use, gang violence, and every other self-inflicted issue that stop black Americans from progressing in the year of 2018.

Go to Chicago if you want a good paying job. Companies are moving their headquarters there, tech giants are hiring and fighting the tech start-up for top talent, and all-around things are going great.

Actually the hotter the weather the more gun violence in Chicago. More people seem to congregate outside during the wee hours in some neighborhoods. More people drinking alcohol in the wee hours in some neighborhoods and stupid disputes are sometimes resolved with guns.
Scheduling/ staffing at the six Level 1 hospitals in Chicago is highly influenced by weather forecasts and events/ holidays associated with alcohol.

The democratic stronghold doesn't affect other races because white guilt liberals can't convince other races they failed in life or failed to progress up the social ladder due to slavery and capitalism. It only works for black people: self-victimization.
Matter of fact Asian Americans have the highest household median income in the country. You can accomplish many things in this world so long as you refuse to be a victim, imagine that.

The law was enacted following the election of Harold Washington as Mayor, the first and only black mayor in Chicago. The intention was to prevent white flight to the suburbs as people feared the consequences of a black mayor. . Participation was and remains voluntary.
The original language was so broad it allowed some to make claim and be paid after the housing bubble popped- nothing to do with race. Language was subsequently revised.
Race based claims were negligible.
No shortage of current and aspiring alderman want to put the funds to better use within their communities.
I always assume when speaking about cities' economic prospects that one is speaking about the metro region as a whole, since that is how it functions as an economic unit. Municipal boundaries are mostly meaningless in this context.
Chicago's suburbs are very different from the city itself. For one thing, the suburbs don't have the racial discrimination-based home equity insurance program.
