DHS screwed up royally. End result may halt future deportations. What a bunch of clowns running this government. They LIE and CHEAT even in courtrooms.

In a federal courtroom in Washington on Thursday, a judge heard about something the Trump administration had just done that clearly angered him. The government, he learned, had deported an immigrant mother and daughter who are plaintiffs in the lawsuit the judge was hearing over asylum restrictions.

So the judge did something highly unusual: He demanded the administration turn around the plane carrying the plaintiffs to Central America and bring them back to the United States. And he ordered the government to stop removing plaintiffs in the case from the country who are seeking protection from gang and domestic violence.

The U.S. district judge, Emmet Sullivan, of the District of Columbia, was presiding over a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and Center for Gender and Refugee Studies on Tuesday. He had earlier been assured by the government in open court that no plaintiffs in the suit would be deported before midnight Friday.

He ordered the gov to turn the plane around and said that if the situation wasn't fixed he would consider contempt proceedings -- starting with the Attorney General.

The whole Trump conspiracy is starting to feel the bite of some sharp teeth, that they may not have thought were still there, in the law-abiding portion of our government. They're such egotistical fools, they probably thought that once they got going, the whole country would just lay down and play dead for them.

When the regime blows up, if Trump tries to make a getaway to a safe haven on his private 757, that is one plane I hope they won't force to turn around. If Trump were a perpetual living fugitive, he would continue to drag down the Republicans. There would be nothing they could do to minimize their guilt in allowing him to co-opt their party. A big question is, under those circumstances, would he be banned from Twitter?

The jury's still out on the bolded text. I'm still feeling like they have just laid down and played dead.

He's one of the few District Court Judges whose name we all know due to the many high profile cases he's presided over.

This should be good.

What is their excuse for deporting people who have legal matters before the judge?

Donald Trump don't need no stinkin" excuses. He has gotten away with every stupid thing he has ever done, and he feels bulletproof. But everything has it's limits.
