He is an inspiration to so many people...he is leading the way to show young blacks you don't HAVE to be a democrat...you can think for yourself and make your own decisions. Good for him!

And by the way, most Blacks do not get their political advice from rappers, so your comment was quite patronizing and stupid to say the least.
That might be a good message for democrats running for election who roll them out every campaign season.

Except I was talking to another person and that person's comments. Stick to the topic.

It is all about Kanye saying what some people want to hear. The very minute Kanye West criticizes President Trump, he will get an earful from Trump's fan base, and some of the comments will be quite hateful. The only reason some people like him now is because West is saying what they want to hear.

Kanye has said he supports Trump but he hasn't told us why exactly.
Since he is very wealthy I'm sure he appreciates that tax cut.

I suppose you know that Kanye uses bad words (including the "N" word) in his songs just like all the rappers you guys are always screaming about.

It's just another example of tribalism that most right wingers have adopted. Kanye is no different than Trump. If he wasn't on your side you'd be having a conniption fit about how awful they were as human beings.
I liked some of Kanye's early hits, I don't care about his political party. If you told me he was Hindu, I'd still play his songs that I like.

Getting any deeper than that is just not on my list of important things to worry about today.

Feeding my kids, paying the bills, making sure I take a shower. Worrying about which side Kanye is on.... not a priority.

Isn't that the case with all celebrities, no matter their color, who support political candidates? I don't think he is any different than Beyonce in that regard.
