I think the guy who destroyed the original star was wrong, simply because I dislike vandalism, but the people who think they made some grand statement with these stickers are laughable.

Vandalism doesn't prove anything other than the people who did it are idiots. As for the stickers, meh, but it didn't do any harm and isn't destroying property. Between the two, the people who destroy property are the losers.

I saw on twitter a lot of liberals gloating over the pick axe attack saying stuff like the guy should be President and stuff .
