perhaps because she does the very things that trump gets excoriated for(often wrongly) by the press, yet this girl gets a pass? trump says FAKE news is a problem, and the mainstream media reads and proclaims that trump hates all news, yet trump constantly takes the time to let the press in just about every where, generally always stops and answers questions even when he is on his way somewhere, and then ms cortez bans the media from her events, and not one peep from the media even asking her why.
this just goes to show that the media is in the pockets of the democrat party.
She simply wanted her constituents to be able to speak their mind openly without having the press recording everything everyone says. She will be available to the press again after this event. Whats the problem? She is not taking any bribe money from Wall Street so its not like she is talking behind closed doors to her big shot donors telling her what to vote for, like more than 90% of Congress members today. The press has no access to these closed door donor meetings either, in fact, the mainstream press is often owned by the same big money donors that fund the puppets in Congress.

Someone didn't read the article before posting because they are triggered by the existence of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and just can't help themselves.
According to the article, she banned the media from a select town hall event with the express purpose of letting her constituency speak without fear of appearing in the newspaper.
So banning CNN's Acosta from a Trump event was not so bad after all?
What exactly was her/their fear of the press? What do they have to hide?
Displaying her ignorance of how socialist has failed in almost every country it was ever tried? Why do socialist think people in countries like in Scandinavia are starting to reject socialist ideas. No need to point out failing socialist countries like Venezuela, Cuba or North Korea is there.

Why is that so difficult for you to understand and to differentiate between the two? LOL, she is not running to become a dictator, which is what you refer to. She simply is advocating for what our closest allies and successful countries have implemented long ago, and what Franklin D Roosevelt had in mind when he advocated for a "Second bill of rights". And she takes no bribe money from Wall Street in the process so its not like she is taking marching orders behind closed doors. She is simply a straight shooter. Support her and you will have a fighter for ordinary, salt of the earth Americans.
