Some hero...
Yes, a great hero and wildly popular. Only fringe libertarians and Wall Street hate him. He was so popular he was elected president 4 times!

"Only fringe libertarians."

At 92, A Japanese-American Reflects On The Lessons Of Internment Camps

75 years later, Japanese Americans recall pain of internment camps

The Injustice of Japanese-American Internment Camps Resonates Strongly to This Day

I'm sure those who were forced into concentration camps while having their property confiscated just loved FDR. I bet they even wanted to bring him flowers like the Iraqis did for Cheney when he sent troops to invade their country. Oh wait...

oh yes, pick one thing she wants and forget the rest then, like free health care for all, a basic income, etc. she wants the government to basically pay for everything the people want, so it is more than just free college. and that is part of the short sightedness of the socialists.

The treatment of the Japanese during the war has already been addressed. You're just trying to vilify FDR because you are a libertarian. But keep believing FDR is despised after being elected president four times!

This was the policy the person addressed. And asked how it can be paid for. Months later, we announced we were going to spend exactly that figure, an extra $80 billion a year, not for education but for more bombs and war.

I coined the phrase the other day in the merged thread, but you're free to use it: Maolibu Barbie

Germany paid for health care for all in the 1880s, almost 140 years ago. I dont think it is short sightedness. 140 years is a long time with a national health care system. Its sensible policy. They pay far less for health care than we do, as does every other developed country.

Pretty cool nickname. I’m glad I don’t need to tear down 20-somethings who are candidates (not even elected!) in Congressional districts far away from me by calling them names in order to give my life purpose and fulfillment.

Maolibu Barbie! Haha I can’t wait to not tell my friends!!

Putting aside the 22nd Amendment...

If Reagan wouldn't have been senile by the end of his 2nd term he would have probably been elected four times as well.

So you are in fact, genuinely oblivious to that fact, then.
