I don't hear much about this anymore. I hope it is still happening.
I heard in Fox today he has sent a total of 812 to DC. He is probably beginning to realize it would be cheaper to put them on a Greyhound out of Texas. I know one or two posters will say at least they are out of Texas. However if that's the goal this is an idiotic, inefficient way to do it.
It must have utterly swamped DC to absorb an entire 27 people a day. I don't think anybody noticed.

Yeah, I agree. I was hoping for a bigger flood of illegals into DC...like airplanes full like what just got dumped in NY. I was hoping someone would donate money or an plane to fly more into DC.
He said it- made a huge PR splash about it.why would you doubt he hasn’t followed through? It would be pretty bad if he just dropped the ball without any follow up considering the promises made.
Have you called his office to find out?
It backfired. He was actually helping the illegals because all of them wanted to head in that direction. They weren't camping out in front of the White House. They were living with family/friends and working under the table in low (high, for them) paying jobs.

Well if it helped them get to family and get jobs than why did it backfire. Sounds like a win all around. Something to celebrate.
If he had the authority to transport them and federal dollars like Biden it may have worked. I assume they are in custody until they are dropped off at night in NY state. I don't assume many wanted to go to Westchester, NY. However the feds have the power and money to coerce and compel them. Get on the plane or stay in a cage. As another poster said is all that really resulted was Abbott helping facilitate illegals entering the interior of the country on Biden's behalf. Psaki got quite a chuckle out of that.
Desantis was going to attempt something like it but he is smarter than Abbott so pretty much shut his mouth about it when he realized it would be a colossal failure.

No. That one bus with the illegals were ecstatic and thanked the Gov for the free ride. There’s no way in hell he can grab a detained illegal from ICE’s hands. Nor do they really have information or data on whose really illegal. He caught a few unawares and did a press conference with a photo shoot maybe from his local jails. It got him no where. I swear we need better candidates.
No, he's on to getting the kids of illegals out of public schools this week.
And ramping up to push vouchers for private schools. All the state money, such as it is, will go with the student to any school the parent wants. The state budget for public schools goes up each year. SO does enrollment. So the local district have to pick up more of the cost per pupil. IIRC, the state pays less than 40ish % per pupil.

What's innefficient about it? I read that Arizona is doing it now to.
