So they voted for the racist, homophobic blowhard.
This pretty much sums it up and it's why Trump supporters are still so angry even though they completely dominate every aspect of politics today and are in essence the only people who currently matter. Also don't forget the gay marriage decision and the transgender bathroom debate. Those issues are very significant to Trump supporters.

It drives them crazy that they don't (yet) have the power to force everyone to submit to their authority and the cultural norms defined by them and punish all dissenters.

Trump supporters/voters made a mistake. When will they admit it?

I doubt it. Never, most likely.

“The facts of life do not penetrate to the sphere in which our beliefs are cherished; they did not engender those beliefs, and they are powerless to destroy them; they can inflict on them continual blows of contradiction and disproof without weakening them; and an avalanche of miseries and maladies succeeding one another without interruption in the bosom of a family will not make it lose faith in either the clemency of its God or the capacity of its physician.”
Marcel Proust, Swann's Way

"Democracy and America are in trouble."
-- an understatement, me.

"Fake news." Ejecting reporters from meetings. If you are critical of Trump, he uses the power of his office to retaliate. I don't understand how you have missed this. It has been going on since day one of his administration.

Do you plan to run on that in 2020?

difference between the Trump stuff and the Obama stuff is the body count. thus far Trump didn't get anyone killed.

next question Lib.
ROFL! Fast and Furious was a Bush brainstorm.

There was no IRS scandal.

Benghazi was an attack against the US.

Trump's body count is low because he warns the Russians to get out of the way before he launches an attack.

Is Mexico paying for the wall?

Is he working so hard that he never has time to play a round of Golf?

Is the GDP up 4 to 6%?
"And I actually think we can go higher than 4 percent. I think you can go to 5 percent or 6 percent.”

Term Limits? Special Prosecutors for Hillary?

Guaranteed 6 weeks sick leave for paid - for mothers?

Repeal ObamaCare?

NOT cut Medicare (he's cut it with his tax cut bill)?

Amazing infrastructure projects?

End Birthright Citizenship (he's actually selling packages to Russians to have babies in his condos!)??

Eliminate the Federal 19 Trillion debt in eight years (It will be 25 trillion or more by then)???

Sue all those who accused him of sexual misconduct? (nope, not one).

Release his tax returns?

Revise child tax credits and add elderly credits? (nope)....

Repeal the AMT? Nope....

That's a partial list.

I voted for Trump basically for two reasons:

1. To keep Hillary out of the Oval office.

2. To keep the Supreme Court from going full tilt Liberal.

In those two respects, Trump has been wildly successful.

Anything else that he is able to accomplish, especially when under constant attack, is just icing on the cake.

Agreed. Although I would have preferred Rand Paul and I did vote for him in the primary.

See, this is what the Left really just doesn't get......

The more unhinged they become, the more they coddle to their radical far left moonbat base, the more they increase Trump's chances of being reelected.

Being critical of the press does not constitute an attack on the first amendment.

If it did, then Obama would be guilty of it for criticizing Fox news as much as he did......up to and including the harassment and investigation of Fox reporter James Rosen.

Yeah there left knows all about that. Like that time their messiah told them that Benghazi was caused by a Youtube video. Or that time we were told how cheap we were all going to be able to get health insurance. Or how about that time when he said illegals would have to follow the same path legal immigrants had to follow. Yeah because Trump the Dump invented lying.
How do hardliners even look at themselves?
