I've yet to meet a liberal from Ca. who didn't think they knew more that anyone else. They are especially knowledgeable on people they never met and have the uncanny ability to know all about them.

I have lived in San Diego and have a brother that still does. Your BS won't fly by me but good try.

Far majority of the homeless are Whites and the remaining are Blacks. You rarely ever hear Spanish speaking homeless persons; I'm sure they exist, but it's the exception not the rule. It's not like they hide from you; you pass by the homeless and you can hear them talk among themselves in perfect English. They panhandle in perfect English. And the crazy ones will scream the latest conspiracy theories in perfect English. In fact, I think Breitbart gets some of their stories from the crazy ones.
The homeless and immigrants come in all colors, shapes & size.

Sometimes I talk to them. Sometimes they talk to me. Many homeless are friendly, some are not. The homeless who talked to me almost always asked for directions because they are new to the city. I have been asked where is this place. "San Francisco" I replied. I have been asked how to get back to San Francisco. "This is still San Francisco. I think you want to know how to get back to SOMA." The homeless who are in the northern part of SF are usually new to the city and doing their "sight seeing". Those in SOMA and surrounding area have settled down and are more concerned with day to day survival.

The other day, a homeless man in a wheelchair asked me for help. He literally just arrived in the city that day - got off the bus, followed the tourists to Embarcadero, and wheeled himself along the bay to Fisherman's Wharf. He asked me for bus money and direction to the bus stop. I offered to wheel him there because he had to go uphill one block. He told me he grew up in Kansas and served in the army. I gave him $40 and wished him luck. You guys make fun of the homeless problem but it's no joke. These are real people from poor places who came to SF as a last resort for survival. They want to escape Middle America and keep traveling west or east hoping to find their sanctuary; until they reach the coast and then they realize this is it; there is no salvation waiting for them; just more homelessness but at least the weather here is nice. So they stay and it becomes the coastal cities' problems.

We know what Ca. thinks of their homeless population after all they pass the laws to help create them.

They have no justification to complain about anyone coming into the state. They would have even more homeless if not for the ones leaving Ca. to other states. Millions of them.

This is the democratic vision for our economy. We can all flip burgers for (starting pay) $15/hr with raises and bennies to follow. The best and brightest can graduate to poop patrol, cleaning up what remains of those burgers and fries.

Democrats are masters of economics, don't ya know? In America, you can have your socialism and eat it too. Then chit it out and collect it like a golden nugget. Sick plans they have for America, and Americans.

#justwalkaway, and try not to step on any feces on the way.

I wish it weren't the case. Unfortunately, it does appear that democrats would like to turn our economy into some sort of of pre 18th century model. Kind of similar to what the waning days of the British empire looked like. Poop patrols, a society addicted to drugs (Brits were bitten by opium and brandy) and a predatory economy built on debt slavery/servitude and disrupting foreign empires/sovereign nations.

Democrats have no vision for the future, only plans to take us backwards.

True Democrat job creation.

Soon they'll need H1B Visa holders to fill the positions since there are no real qualified Americans.

They will earn every penny of it if they show up and do the job to clean up Nancy's city. With no restrictions to stop human waste being deposited on the streets, it should be a lasting job too.

Thanks Nancy !!! We should give credit to job creators and their policy no matter who they are.

Looks like a great model to increase employment. Create the problem with policy. Then solve it by hiring people to clean up the mess. The future is bright and getting brighter everyday.

What a win! I think they found the solution.

Progressive SF can pay every homeless person 185K to pick up their own poop, and the lefties in SF that are paying the taxes to fund this will sqeal with joy, because they love paying high taxes, and the homeless are all now "well to do".

Right?

HUD requires all communities that receive Federal Funding for homeless to perform a biennial Point in Time Count in late January.

Accourding to the most recent Count,78% of the unsheltered homeless population in San Francisco were not Hispanic/ Latino.

Everything one might want to know about SF homeless population:

If fairness is a real issue. They could stop the invitations advertising sanctuary city status too. Its not really fair to invite and then make them pay when they show up. The invitation should disclose the required cover charge.

But more common are the "dreamers". The small town girl/boy from Middle America with no degree, little skill, no job lined up; who moved to SF to couch surf on a friend/distant relative's house. Then no surprise he/she couldn't find a job, got kicked out of the house, and ended up on the streets.
.
Actually, middle class people who live there are being priced out of their homes.
