It would probably be a financial hardship for her to fly all the way down here to go to the funeral, given she'd have to go on her own dime. He did her a favor. He had so many friends I would imagine there were some difficult cuts that had to be made.
There must be a reason and we may never know what that is.
Getting my popcorn ready for this thread.
The reason is simple. No one wants low-life idiots at their Funeral...unless forced to.
Mac may have his faults, but he is an actually thinking and feeling human being, which puts him high up on the scale above the likes of the uninvited (The Don and Sarah)...
Sarah Palin's comments have been very kind and compassionate. The McCain family is having the funeral that John McCain wanted, and the rest of the world needs to respect that.
You could draw a direct line from Palin to the current state of politics today. It was the first major "dumbing down" of the GOP. McCain's greatest mistake in life and he made a few.
not surprised in the least that mcshame invited giggles the socialist clown obummer to his funeral -after all, john boy intentionally threw the election so chairman O could win
So much BS in this entire post but not surprising considering the source.
May have been the result of her serious sucking up to Trump.
IMO, her being chosen as the VP candidate based on his aid watching one speech was a mistake. She may have been perfect for Alaska, but was not ready for prime time. It was a steep learning curve.
But, I will always think by campaign season they knew the bottom was fixing to drop out of the economy so they threw the election.
I saw video of Mccain's daughter sobbing over his coffin on the front page of a website I read today. How tragic this family has to endure the intrusion of the press. the tremendous grief of saying goodbye to a beloved person is impossible to explain and impossible to imagine unless one has been through it. Criticizing or second guessing the choices made by a grieving family is cruel.
Note to self - make sure my family knows to invite Ms. Palin to my funeral. And President Trump.
I'm sure they give enough of a **** about you or any other ordinary American to want to attend.
