Trump's economic policies are far, FAR to the left of Obama.

Could you please give us some 'precise' examples of the exact same thing? Because as far as I know, we have never had a president who acts like a 12 year-old school bully.

Has to be seen to be believed.
It is not logic, it is misinformation aka fake news presented by you, not Dems. Well, you heard it from Trump, and believed it, so its not like you made it up.

EU and US both impose an average of 3% tariffs on both sides (US imposes slightly higher tariffs), so no one is being ripped off.

Like someone mentioned Trumps trade policy is in the left side of Obama's.

Trump is escalating his trade war with China. So much winning....

For Democrats.

Its about 3% on EU side, and US imposes 3.7%.

There is a lot of work to be done and the previous administration punted! Personally I'd like to see no tariffs as they are just a tax on the consumer.
The previous admin negotiated zero tariff deal, which was trash-canned by this admin. Same with Canada, Mexico, Japan and many other countries. We had deals, which Trump threw into the wind apparently because he was not interested in even knowing what was in them.

I can tell some folks on this very discussion board like to "bend knees" for this president quite a lot. Anything they can do to please their master, soothe his easily bruised ego and make him feel like he is "winning." Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

He ignores the fact that we were better off before he broke and fixed it.
No reading the article is a no, no your supposed to shut up and take as gospel.

Trump rejected the EU’s offer of zero tariffs:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ot-good-enough

The reason he gave was idiotic.

Quote:
It’s not good enough,” Trump said of the offer from Brussels during an Oval Office interview with Bloomberg News. “Their consumer habits are to buy their cars, not to buy our cars.”
Perhaps he wants Europeans to be forced at gunpoint to buy American made cars?

I always thought Trump’s sudden desire for zero tariffs was a lie.

LOL.....that may be one of the most moronic things I have ever seen a president say.

" I am against tariffs but I insist on tariffs on your cars because you prefer your own cars to ours".
