Trump is not the highest law enforcement officer in the land.

Nixon thought he could fire enough of the highest law enforcement officers in the land until he got to someone who would march to his tune.

Eventually, he got down to Bork who fired Special Prosecutor Cox in exchange for Nixon's promise to nominate him to the Supreme Court.

The rest is history.

She got away with it, be happy.

Mueller's not going away. Trump blew his chance to put someone at DOJ who'd investigate Clinton, and instead ends up the one being investigated. Hugely. bigly failure.

"no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."

He was NOT a prosecutor. The FBI INVESTIGATES then turns the info OVER to the PROPER AUTHORITIES to decide if prosecution warranted or not.

MANY people with prosecutor experience have flat out disagreed with his claim.

"and how similar situations have been handled in the past."

Tell that to the sailor was found GUILTY for taking a picture of himself for his girl friend"

I get it. I'm just not sure all the posters on here get it.

Consider the separation of powers is where you don't get it.
The supreme court isn't part of the executive branch.

The supreme court has legislated. Often where the congress has failed too.

I'm sorry, but you just don't make any sense.

Time to get out of the shallow end of the pool and venture into the deeper waters of thought.

I just heard Sara Carter talking to Hannity about Weissman and Ohr. Ohr has been singing to save his own skin. The whole Mueller investigation is compromised if Weissman knew it was fake. She speculated that may be why Mueller agreed to get written answers from the President. Nothing much is going to happen now.

It sounds like there will be a release soon of the 20 page FISA that Rosenstein signed. Conflicts all around. Not sure if that was the particular bombshell Carter was referencing, but something big is coming out soon.

Was the guy fired or not?
It would all play out in the public perception. Nixon didn't know the CIA were setting him up.
Just like Brennen and Obama did to Trump. Why do you think they tried to pin Russia on Trump, when it was Brennen, Hillary and Obama colluding with Russia and China and Saudi Arabia, and Iran..... and let's not leave out Britain and the EU

Who has Trump bribed to make it go away?
This is the same deal they pulled on Nixon.
CIA set up, blame it on the republicans and then watch to see if there is a cover-up
