I hope someday we can truly understand how all of this works. I don't really understand it, but it really doesn't matter if the etiology is psychological or physiological. I just hope that people can feel comfortable in their own skin so...as long as you aren't hurting me, I will treat you as you wish you be treated. So yes, you can use the bathroom stall next to me, whatever you need.
Transgenderism is not a political issue - but it is a social issue. In today's extreme PC culture, reason and logic have been usurped by all kinds of fringe groups demanding social "equality," which equates to people "being nice" and agreeing with whatever the person identifies as - it actually makes zero sense.
Every person should have "equality" in terms of human rights - no one should be harassed for their uniqueness or their "disabilities."
Transgender people are not even one percent of the population, so I don't know why this has become such a big issue.
I also don't know why a great majority of the population have capitulated to the idea that it is normal to cut off body parts and pump one's self full of hormones - even women in menopause are warned NOT to take hormones - that they are dangerous - yet people are putting children on hormones and transgender people evidently have to be on hormones for life. How is that healthy?
And the end result is that even if you cut off your body parts like you want to do, you end up not being any happier and still want to commit suicide.
It is tragic!
These people need support - mental health support - not doctors who cut off their body parts to enrich themselves, or "friends" who tell them it's all good.
They haven't "become women". They have merely undergone voluntary genital mutilation, and picked up a drug habit (hormones).
But they still have the X and Y chromosome in every cell in their bodies, and a lifetime of experience growing up as males. Nothing important has changed.
Men can no more "become women" than a Toyota can become a Ford. You can paint it a different color, put a Ford badge on it, and put a different weight of oil in the engine. But it's still a Toyota.
Um - in mammals, XY individuals usually have ovaries. Perhaps you are thinking of birds, where XY individuals usually have testicles.
