I know many of the GOP ones ran in 2016. Rubio is weak, and hardline on Cuba, but he would not be the chaotic POTUS we currently have. Regardless, anyone of the above would be the adults in the room, and anyone of them would be able to bring order to the office of the presidency again, no matter if GOP or Dem. We might not like their policies, but they all would be capable people who once again would restore American honor.

I disagree. I think Trump would issue a call to arms with his deplorable base before he ever resigned. He won't comply with any legal order to vacate the white house. He will not go quietly. It will get ugly.
Trump's base is shrinking as it consists mainly of old white men, many of which will die before 2020.
