What was his point? Apparently that he doesn't really know much about history.

No actual person in the Third Servile War ever said "I am Spartacus!" It's merely fictional dialogue from a movie and nothing more. And if you're going to adopt the persona of a historical figure, you could probably do better than picking a man who got the remaining 6,000 of his men crucified along the Appian Way and who himself was skewered by lances in his final battle on the plains of southern Italy.

Not necessarily saying the real Spartacus was a complete loser, but Cory Booker sure is.
