Maybe Cruz is so dumb that he doesn't realize that silicon is related to high tech and silicon chips. That's a major Foot-in-Mouth issue right there. He attempted to denigrate silicone boob jobs but instead he used the wrong word - silicon - and he denigrated the high tech industry instead. And this guy is supposed to write laws? What an idiot.
You make it about his attempt at humor concerning California as somehow having to do with writing laws? You really know how to connect the dots don't you!?
Please don't vote.

I forgot about that gem. So clueless.

Yes, Texas is #2. Its GDP is 1.6 trillion to CA's 2.7 trillion. I think TX has its own insanity. LOL

First of all, what is wrong with any of those three things? Second of all, there are tons of fake boobs in Dallas and throughout the state tons of dyed hair and tons of Japanese restaurants serving tofu. Very strange things to fixate on to differentiate Texas from California.

Cruz is an idiot, he's trying to pander to the conservative crowd, I doubt he probably personally even cares about any of what he said, these clowns say and do whatever to pander to their base.

It was a stupid move considering that Texas has a certain amount of tech companies, but whatever.

The guy that pointed all that out to Trump about Ted Cruz's dad, is voting for Ted Cruz in November.
Teds place is in the Senate. Not the Whitehouse.

Yes, I've heard of it. I lived close to there for many, many years. Before I moved to Texas, where taxes are low, the economy is booming, and we elect representatives that adhere to Texas values.

I actually didn't "hear". But you either mis-heard, or he misspoke. Something I'm sure lefties are sure to forgive, since that's the go-to excuse whenever one of their's says something wrong. And they may want to stay away from the "so dumb" comments, since Maxine Waters is from CA.

He didn't denigrate anything. He may have said the wrong word, but at least be intellectually honest enough to know he was not speaking of silicon in his comments.

Something I'm sure he knows a lot about, since it seems like lots of CA businesses are moving here to Texas.

The place for Cruz is in a Taliban or Isis gang.

You can boast about the California economy all you want. When it comes down to it though, all major California cities are trashed from Liberal Policies. The state is drowning in $1.3 Trillion in debt, and accounts for more than 55% of their GDP.

Russia on the other hand has 10.6% GDP to Debt Ratio.... So , please tell me who is the reckless spender and who will lose in the end?
I haven't watched CNN since Lou Hobbs left.

I do read.
