Looks like McDaniel is taking a page from Donald Trump's playbook.

Quote:
U.S. Senate candidate Chris McDaniel was booed by a live MSNBC audience at Ole Miss on Friday morning after he said African-American Mississippians should stop "begging for federal government scraps."

Republican McDaniel and other Senate candidates were interviewed on the "Morning Joe" show from its live broadcast in Mississippi. Interview panelist Eddie Glaude Jr., a Moss Point native and chairman of African-American studies at Princeton University, asked McDaniel about his support for the controversial state flag, comments about hip-hop music contributing to gun violence and praise of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

He should open a fast food burger place called McDaniel's.

If Democrats taught a man to fish, that man would never ever need them again.
As it is, giving them a fish the Democrats stole from a Republican, is working perfectly like a well regulated clock.

Maybe we can get the Dems to stop dangling the scraps in front of those folks and asking for their vote in return? It is a pretty good deal. The Dems will give welfare, free health care, free tuition, free pot etc etc and all they ask in return is a vote their way.

What do the Reps offer? a chance for someone to stand on his or her own 2 feet?

No, The GOP offers the chance to be able to kiss the feet of someone who refuses to pay well. Then say Thank you.

Many people wonder why more Blacks do not vote Republican despite many Blacks having conservative values. This is why. Making comments assuming that all Blacks are looking for is "free stuff". Most Blacks who vote Democrat WORK for a living. Many people who are on welfare are the working poor. Yes, we have those who only want to live off the welfare system. We also have those who work but don't make enough not to need welfare. And the majority of Blacks aren't looking for welfare. Anyone who assumes that the only thing Blacks are looking for is "free stuff", well, those persons are bigots themselves.

Wow, MSNBC must be on to something big, considering all the negative posts about it today.

McDaniel isn't the only politician to make the assumption that Black Americans only want food stamps. Newt Gingrich made some comments like that back in 2012.

"Black Americans should demand jobs, not food-stamps.", was Newt Gingrich's quote.

I think you mean "someone who pays only for the value that you add to their business"
