Some of that is true, although I think promiscuity is a fine thing so long as contraception is involved.
Mostly, we have jettisoned the notion of Personal Responsibility. With common sense is replaced by the race card, the blame game, victimology, and a general sense of madness.

One of the problems is those who have become so polarized leaning to one political party or the other and constantly blaming the other side.
There are good people and bad on both sides of the aisle. It is not one side or the other that has a metastasizing cancer that is spreading.
