Ginsberg ring any bells?

What I don't understand is y'all not railing against the Congress people who are demonstrably guilty of some of the same charges or WORSE that are being tossed around right now. Is it because they're in your own parties? Hmmmm?

Hypocrite ideologues is all...

It's the exact same thing. Both innocent. Both falsely accused. Both presumed guilty by the Dems with no corroborating evidence whatsoever, based ONLY on a woman's "say so." Can you really not see it?

That's it in a nutshell. Interestingly enough some of the loudest mouths on the Senate floor have skeletons of their own and yet nobody is calling for their heads...

One can only hope that the GOP has their people digging into Booker's past as we speak...

These same Republicans who want to confirm Kavanaugh refuse to condemn his shameless partisan and dishonest behavior during questioning. Why? Because they are determined to appoint Kavanaugh at whatever cost. So Repubs, you can cheer and crow about your victory all you want, but don't pretend this investigation was complete and objective, because it certainly was not that.

Yeah? How about those Democrats. Copied/pasted from above:

A woman that Christine Blasey Ford claimed was at the party where Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her circa 1982 told FBI investigators that Dr. Ford's "allies" tried to pressure her to change her story about what happened.

Leland Keyser told investigators that Ford's friend, former FBI agent Monica McLean, had urged her to alter the original statement that she gave about not remembering any such party and not knowing Kavanaugh, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The Journal noted that Keyser's statement to the FBI offered "a glimpse into how Dr. Ford’s allies were working behind the scenes to lobby old classmates to bolster their versions of the alleged incident."

Because they have nothing else. This Mt movement has reignited political correctness to a point that obvious falsehoods cannot be called out, for fear of retaliation. That is my opinion.

Democrats expected him to fold under the pressure they put on him between the hearings and the massive smear campaign via the media. He did not. And then he called them on their irresponsible and shameless behavior. Democrats on the committee thoroughly earned the scorn from both Kavanaugh and everyone else who joins him in calling out the Democrats for their horrible behavior.
From Kavanaugh's opening statement:

" Since my nomination in July, there’s been a frenzy on the left to come up with something, anything to block my confirmation. Shortly after I was nominated, the Democratic Senate leader said he would "oppose me with everything he’s got.”

A Democratic senator on this committee publicly referred to me as evil. Evil. Think about that word. And said that those that supported me were “complicit in evil.”

Another Democratic senator on this committee said, “Judge Kavanaugh is your worst nightmare.”

A former head of the Democratic National Committee said, “Judge Kavanaugh will threaten the lives of millions of Americans for decades to come.”

Everything he said was accurate, and he could have gone on with dozens or hundreds of such comments by prominent Ds. For those who call the hearing a 'job interview,' consider whether you'd even show up at a job interview with people who've said those things and worse about you. This was an inquisition by D's desperate to prevent Trump from fulfilling one of his most important campaign pledges. More like a bunch of crazed prosecutors taking turns cross-examining a defendant. And yes, it's a well-orchestrated political hit, as Kavanaugh said.

Kavanaugh's statement and responses were not in a judicial setting where per the ABA his record is impeccable.

Your equating those two circumstances shows you have so little historical knowledge and empathy that your perspective is set in granite.

Brett Kavanaugh could have been one of the men in that lynch mob...
He is a "victim" that has suffered no harm because apparently he is going to get what he wants and the President wanted
He will likely be voted onto the Court...and laugh at how he has manipulated the American public and the political system...
The "emotional" toll likely won't last any longer than the vote...
I stopped reading your post at this point.

Opinions are fine, but if you are stating something as fact, it helps to have a source. Or you won't be seen as credible. Dr. Ford is a great example. She had her facts with nothing to support those facts.
No, she had a STORY, a tale, a nightmare even with not even the scintilla of facts to back it up.

Reminds me of the Eloi in The Time Machine (1960) who wouldn't stand up to the Morlocks.

It finally took a strong, conservative man to shine the light on the true intent of the evil monsters who controlled the weak people and kept them ignorant and subservient. The Morlocks fed the Eloi like cattle, only to feed upon them themselves.

IMO - a great metaphor for the new Democratic Party.
