Not a "flat-out lie," sorry. What we've discovered so far is that Kavanaugh has a long history of belligerent, drunken, misogynistic behavior. Hardly a stretch to believe that the three women who've accused him are all lying. Smoke, fire. . . .

True, unfortunately. The relentless Republican mockery and shaming of Ford, while holding up Kavanaugh as a paragon of integrity--despite evidence to the contrary (conveniently ignored)--prove the case. Just as how they excuse his nutcase behavior at the hearing; had Ford ranted and raved about conspiracy theories, etc., she would have been labeled, by these same folks, as hysterical and unstable. Misogyny. Plain and simple.

CERTAIN DETAILS? How about ANY salient details as in she doesn't remember much of anything.
It takes a woman to 'read' another woman and her motives. And this one is a certifiable nutcase who allows herself to be manipulated by her legal counsel for attention (which she craves) and money. She has no concern or empathy for the consequences of her actions.

She wants the "attention" of death threats for herself and her family?
You've ascribed motives to her right out of some Lifetime movie.
Only a woman who doesn't like other women would look at Dr. Ford and see what you see.
What is it about some women that causes them to defend some men regardless of the clear evidence of their depravity?
It's like the women who write to serial killers in prison offering to marry them or have their children.
Doesn't matter how heinous, their "concern or empathy" will always be with the man, not with his victims.
After Kavanaugh's "performance" on Thursday, Dr. Ford has proved herself a patriot of the highest order.
He has absolutely no business on any bench, let alone the Supreme Court.

That would be better written "support of Kavanaugh *because* nobody has evidence." It's not "blind" support for an American to believe in the presumption of innocence. It's the bedrock of our system.
So drinking beer in college is now being presented as disqualifying for a Supreme Court nominee. As long as that nominee is submitted by a Republican president, that is.
But you are reelected to the presidency if you write in an autobiography that you were were so stoned and drug in your last year in high school, that it was all a drug and alcohol induced blur.
