Where did I say it doesn't apply to men? It applies to EVERYONE. It is you who are ridiculous. I was very clear, no "basically saying" at all.
I clearly stated exactly what I meant, nowhere did I say, infer or suggest no drinking/partying, YOU DID and if you can't comprehend what I said or it doesn't fit your "every woman is a victim" narrative then that's on you...
What you've just stated does not align with what you stated in the post I replied to.
So much for innocent until proven guilty from Harvard law students.
35% of his clerks have been from Harvard. They're potentially hurting themselves, especially if they believe (as many posters here do) that he's petty and holds grudges.
This, when we have probably the most unreliable, least credible accuser in this type of case. It's laughable, and sad, and shows how partisan and desperate the ACLU has become.
She remembers the assault. That's the part most women remember quite well. Ask any of the credible women here who have spoken frankly about their assaults. Many of them have seconded Ford's inability to recall many of the superfluous details while remembering the assault perfectly and in vivid detail.
But I suppose they are all lying, too. Because that's what women do, right?
There's no getting through to the mind of a misogynist: a woman who has the temerity to actually go out into the world and have fun clearly doesn't know her place ("reality"). If she did, she would stay home, where she belongs. And if she happens to be sexually active, God help her: notice how many times Ford's past sexual behavior has been discussed? In addition to which, it doesn't seem to occur to the brain-dead that perhaps her promiscuity was a result of having been attacked, a pretty common subsequent response among sexual assault victims.
That would be better written "support of Kavanaugh *because* nobody has evidence." It's not "blind" support for an American to believe in the presumption of innocence. It's the bedrock of our system.
Not anymore. If you've got boobs and sit to pee you MUST ALWAYS BE BELIEVED no matter what. All you have to do is utter 3 words (he raped me) and nothing much else to corroborate it and BAM it's over especially if the accused is a white male, doubly if it's a privileged white male.
