If he was nominated for the SC in 1982 or 1985, he'd be deservedly rejected. Check your calendar. It should say 2018. There's zero indication he's been a belligerent drunk for 30+ years.

And if those same allegations were said about you or a male family member - are you going to sit there and take it or defend yourself? My bet is on you defending your name or your family members and are you going to get mad, harsh belligerent - you bet you are because you are displaying that in your post with the emphatic IS.

It is also about what some past behavior had gotten him involved in which is serious, having his character and judgment questioned. As said, in the process of questioning, his exhibiting an unpleasant demeanor and negative behavior likely proves he would be unfit for the position.

None of us know what all he has done in his private life and his off-time, so we don't know what kinds of interactions have occurred with others. He does appear to have some issues, though.

We have a drunk applying to become a SCOTUS Justice for life. He tried to coverup a simple problem.
He lied about his past.

What else did he lie about?

He failed his job interview.

There are others on that list from the Federalist Society, time to put a new name up.

This entire thing is so unbelievable! The leftists tried to get him on a weak, unsubstantiated accusation of a sex crime, and now that that is falling apart, they're saying he's unqualified because he got angry about being slandered and having his career destroyed.

You are mistaken.

The cover up is worse. He failed his job interview.

He's not a drunk. He's had six - now going on seven - FBI investigations for high-clearance jobs, and that didn't come out. Are you saying that the FBI had six chances to discover he's a drunk and wasn't able to do it?

And this isn't just a regular job interview, even though leftists try to put it down as one.
